As 2024 comes to a close, we’re reflecting on a brilliant year for Fell. Here are some of the highlights that made it so special.
Collaborations
This year, we partnered with some wonderful people and organisations.
Kicking off the year, our collaboration with Blue Mind Men and McColls Brewery got us off to a good start. Mere was a beer designed to bring people together. We followed the brew day with a launch event at Fell Kendal and a couple of us even joined Blue Mine Men for a February lake dip.

We were joined by Wonderful Wild Women again for 2024’s International Womens Collaboration Brew Day. Ripples, a “tiny IPA” was a big hit and huge thanks goes to Sporadic Illustration for the beautiful custom-designed can.

Our collaboration with Rider Resilience was another highlight and our partnership represented a joint commitment to building a community and developing a sense of camaraderie by bringing people together and sharing experiences.
We joined up with a number of like minded breweries and producers this year as well, including Gan Yam Brew, Lakes Brew Co, Rivington Brewing Co, Abbeydale Brewery, Donzoko Brewing Co, Our Farm and Zingi Bear. We count ourselves lucky to work in a an industry where there are so many people and businesses doing interesting things that we can learn from.
Our Venues
The biggest piece of news from this year in terms of our venues, was the opening of Fell Northern Quarter! Taking over the space that was formerly Pelican Bar, Fell Northern Quarter has gone from strength to strength since it officially opened in October. Run by Denny and a cracking team by his side, it has a laid back vibe, and an expertly curated selection of craft beers, premium spirits, natural wines and snacks. If you’re in Manchester, be sure to pop in!

The rest of our venues have also had a great year and we’ve strengthened the ties between our brewery and bars by hosting each of the venues for a brew day, giving each other an insight into what goes on behind the scenes.
Awards & Recognition
We were thrilled to be nominated and receive some incredible accolades.
In March we won Cumbria Food Awards‘ Drinks Producer of the Year and at the end of the year we were nominated for Sustainability Champion and Imogen for Young Brewer of the Year at the Brewer’s Choice Awards in London. We were absolutely delighted when Imogen deservedly won Young Brewer of the Year. Imogen has the total respect of the team here at Fell and it was brilliant to see this being recognised outside of of the company.
