The 26th August last year will forever be etched in Fell history as the day we got the keys to the Royal Oak, our pub in Cartmel, just up the road from the brewery. What followed has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride, but we are delighted and relieved to say that we have made it through our first year and things are, tentatively, going pretty well.

Oktoberfest at the Royal Oak

In celebration, we are planning a big party for Oktoberfest, the traditional Bavarian folk festival held annually in, strangely, late September. There will be a whole weekend of festivities planned around live music, Fell’s very own Fest Beer and classic Bavarian grub… And you’re all invited! So, pencil the weekend in the diary, the 23rd to 25th September, at the Royal Oak, Cartmel and come and join us for some late summer shenanigans. Please check out our social feeds for more info on lineups and such, but there will be things happening every day from late afternoon onwards. There will also be similar, smaller events taking place at our other Fell bars in Kendal, Penrith and Chorlton over the same weekend.

It’s been a hell of a couple of years. Regardless of what’s to come, we want to thank you for the support you’ve shown us over this extremely challenging time. As a thank you, we’re giving away a year’s supply of beer to one lucky winner. Just click here to enter the competition. There’s no catch, we genuinely just want to say thanks. If you haven’t already, you can also sign up to our newsletter by clicking the link. So, let’s enjoy the last bits of summer while we still can, and we’d absolutely love to see you at the Fest. Prost!
